中文版就是「稻草裡的火雞」......唉呀不得了，這個真糟糕，我的火雞呀，跑到哪兒去了......


剛剛過完Halloween ，外師Rachel已經追著我問，要不要做Thanksgiving (感恩節)節慶教學？
今年因為Teacher Rachel將回美國過Christmas，所以也很期待在她「回娘家」前，還能玩一玩Thanksgiving的相關活動。


其實我從來沒有做過Thanksgiving的教室佈置。
因為夾在Halloween和Christmas這兩個大日子中間，往往讓孩子們寫張感恩卡，就草草了事。
事實上我好喜歡這個節慶的意義。
Thanksgiving是美國新移民為感謝印地安人而來的。
讀國中的時候，第一次聽英文老師說這個故事，覺得很感動。
人與人之間那種相濡以沫、慷慨互助的精神，早已超越種族、語言、國籍的藩籬。
我還記得當時的英文老師說，值得感謝的人太多了，有形無形之間，每天都有好多的人幫助我們、照顧著我們的生活。


感恩節是在每年十一月的第四個星期四( the 4th Thursday of November)。
也是歲末年終之際。
趁這時節，感懷每一個身邊的親朋好友、相識或不相識的人，宇宙天地，陽光雨水，天地萬物，未嘗不是美事一件。


All right......我今年會跟Teacher Rachel一起，好好規劃Thanksgiving的教學活動的！ 
我們來過一個不同以往的感恩節吧。
首先想到turkey ，感恩節最應景的，就是火雞。
所以找到Turkey in the Straw這首歌。
到Wikipedia一探究竟，發現很有意思，歌詞還經過幾個年代的變更，出現幾種版本。
上面影片由The Wiggles演出，超逗趣的，忍不住看好幾次哩。
