上禮拜六，和小朋友一起編舞，唱這首好聽的聖誕歌--- A Holly Jolly Christmas。
昨天，有家長來接小朋友，問我：「這麼早就把聖誕樹都佈置好啦？」
我跟這位爸爸說：「11月底，好多商店都佈置好了啊，很有聖誕節的氣氛。」
Yes, Christmas is coming.
 

每一年，我們唱不一樣的聖誕歌。
這樣小朋友可以多學幾首，老師們也可以多發揮創意。
最近，我在商店裡常聽到播放著聖誕歌曲，也會注意聽是哪些歌曲，比較受歡迎。
這首就常聽到。
旋律是流行歌曲，比較不像兒歌，很適合大一點的孩子。
果然，在班上一試就成功，高年級的孩子很喜歡。
歌詞不難，馬上可以上手。

有些歌曲，在時間裡流傳，歌詞多少會有不同版本。
這裡的第四句歌詞，我就聽過兩種不同版本。
Barney可愛版所唱的是But let's all give a cheer，原唱Burl Ives則是But have a cup of cheer。
我的高年級學生，對於太可愛的歌聲，會嚷著說太幼稚，流行歌曲唱法對他們來說，接受度比較高。
Burl Ives唱的，有點隨性，有點浪漫，詞有時沒落在拍子上，想不到小朋友也跟唱得很好哩。
