What songs, chants, or rhymes do you use before the story time?
I think it's important to do something interesting before the story time.
It also helps our children pay attention, doesn't it?
When your children follow you to read a rhyme , they get ready to concentrate.

       
This is a loud-to-quiet rhyme.
Please try this one. It works. Shake your hands over your head. (Do the actions given in each line.) Point to something that is red. Wiggle your toes. Touch your nose. And put your sillies to bed.  (Hands on lap.)
