相信大部分人都會覺得，這是一首動聽的歌。
曾被譽為「世界上最好聽的歌」，這就是一代巨星Michael Jackson所譜曲、填詞、演唱的Heal the World(拯救世界)。

我在i-Tunes Store買到的原版MV，大概是當年剛創作這首歌時所拍攝，裡面有戰爭的鏡頭、孩子們無助的表情，讓人看得很不捨。我在捷運車廂裡反覆地看，心底一直在流淚。不知道要怎麼傳達給我的學生們，這幸福的一代，這世界是有很多不幸與災難的，只是我們都太幸運。MV的最後，好多好多孩子們，不同年齡、各種膚色、各個種族的，可愛的孩子們，每一位手持著白色蠟燭，一起高舉蠟燭，唱出最美的歌聲......那畫面，會讓人相信，世界真的十分美好。

在YouTube沒找到購買的MV，但還有Michael在演唱會上唱這首歌的影片。最後好多孩子們出場，繞著地球轉呀轉，一樣美得驚心動魄。可不是嗎？為了孩子們，我們應該努力，把地球照顧好，把世界變得更好。

為紀念The 40th Earth Day，今年我教孩子們唱這首歌。往年一直沒有做Earth Day的節慶教學，但Earth Day的意義，早就不容忽視。我們站在教育的第一線，更應該用我們的影響力，來傳播這些愛地球的觀念。

當然當時Michael寫歌，是為了反戰，如今運用在環保教育、愛護地球，我想也相當貼切。應該很適合兒美中高級數的孩子們來學習、欣賞這一首歌。

影片中Michael的巨星風采，還可以讓我們懷念一下。有人說"He's too good for the world."感謝他還留下這麼美的作品，讓我們繼續傳唱。還可以教給孩子們，要他們努力、不懈、堅持... to heal the world。
